Our Story
Invest Consistently and Responsibly
Formosa Equity was founded with the goal to bring carefully vetted multifamily passive investing opportunities to busy professionals.
We remove the hassle and headache being a landlord and strive to generate consistent cash flow and appreciation upsides for you.
How We Started
After 10 years of working in startups, disruptors, and corporate America, Simmy and Jason realized exchanging precious time and energy for 3% raise and 3 weeks of vacation isn't a fair trade. Wanting more control over their time, they embarked on a mission in building passive income streams to free themselves from the W2 job constraints.
After acquiring a single family rental portfolio in Texas and Florida, Jason founded Formosa Equity to accelerate the mission through multifamily investing and to help more friends avoid common investing pitfalls. We understand the difficulty and hesitancy for busy professionals to invest in real estate. We made it a part of our mission to help you understand the risk and reward of this asset class and put your hard earned money to work.
The multifamily asset class is chosen because of its scalability and resiliency to economic downturns. Quality housing will always be in demand with housing shortage now becoming a national issue. We work with experienced and trusted partners in markets with macro indicators that outperform the national averages with the goal to provide affordable and desirable housing.
"Time is really the only capital that any human being has, and the only thing he can't afford to lose."
- Thomas Edison
